This week we'll get a tour of Boise State's MakerLab, located in the Albertson Library on campus. You'll see a variety tools a person can learn to use to explore thier ideas. For example, they can teach instructor how to use 3D printers.
As an interdisciplinary space, the MakerLab works collaboratively with faculty across campus (and across disciplines) to assist in the delivery of meaningful educational experiences through making. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone is encouraged to try new things to solve local issues.
Instructors at Boise State may request tailored instruction for their class, for a group, or one-on-one. instruction, assistance designing assignments, or assist in makerspace style instruction.
Panera lunches will be provided. Let Mary know if you're coming.

Every year, our District sells raffle tickets in conjunction with the District Conference. Every Rotarian is encouraged to participate! Funds are used to finance District projects and a portion comes back to each club for their own projects. The prizes are amazing! Remember, if you are the winner, and you had sold the ticket to yourself, you get double!
