THIS WEEK - CLIMATE HISTORY
Our speaker this week will be Adrian Gallo, Climate Program Manager for the Idaho Conservation League.

"Please join us in a conversation about our recent climate history, the need for our energy systems to adapt, and the current tools being used to address the climate crisis. We’ll provide some context on how the last 30 years of climate policy have shaped the reality we’re in today, and the next steps moving forward. It’s a critical decade to address our climate, environmental, and energy issues – but the opportunities to mitigate the worst effects of climate change are within reach. While individual actions alone can’t solve climate change, engaged climate advocates working together are essential to addressing this global problem!"

WATCH OUT FOR MUSSELS!
Our speaker last week, AJ Mondor, gave a fascinating talk abou the threat of Quagga and Zebra Mussels in Idaho. They are NOT native and they have NO predators! They remove all the nutrients from the water and stick to anything, clogging up the works.  Be sure to clean and dry your water craft and, if you seen any, call the hotline at 208-332-8676.
