Did you see the latest District Bulletin in your e-mail on November 4th? It features Boise Metro’s Earth Stewardship efforts. Special thanks to Amy Dixon and Cornelia Sprung who are making the District Bulletin happen. The club’s Earth Stewardship efforts are also featured on our Boise Metro Rotary Facebook page. Check it out! If you missed it:

Thanksgiving Break … no Rotary Meeting on November 22nd!
We have refreshed our club website. Take a look!! (BTW- poke around a bit - make sure you're aware of all the resources there!)
From Kristen at Boise Parks and Rec - Read about the Netleaf Hackberry, American Kestrel and Common Mullein.
By the way, Jeff, Charlene and Lou did our monthly Greenbelt cleanup duty this week. Sorry about the crappy weather!
Each year, United Way of Treasure Valley organizes a massive volunteer event called Holiday Helper. Over 300 volunteers will come together on November 10 to fill 3,500 boxes of food and supplies, which will be directed through school counsellors to students experiencing homelessness in the Treasure Valley.
Our club donated a gift tree last year. This year, United Way has asked us for donations of protein-rich foods like peanut butter (in small jars), tuna (ready-to-eat and includes a spoon), and warm winter socks (all sizes). Let’s pitch in and fill that need! On November 1 and November 8, bring donations of any of those items to our regular Rotary meeting. If you don’t wish to shop, Venmo Cornelia.
Watch this video about last year's event.
