THIS WEEK -  IDAHO KIND
Idaho KindOur speaker this week will be Grace Keller, Marketing Director for Idaho Kind.

Idaho Kind™ sees the need to become purposeful about the culture of Idaho. As the population evolves, so does the state’s cultural landscape, posing challenges to preserving a distinct culture that has been shaped over generations. By promoting and safeguarding shared core values throughout growth, Idaho Kind™ aims to fortify Idaho’s culture for future generations to enjoy.

The Numbers Don't Lie: Since 2010, Idaho's population has exploded by a staggering 23%. People flock here because they think they've "fallen in love" with our culture. But they're wrong. But as more people move to Idaho, our culture becomes diluted, and its integrity is at risk. New residents bring a unique set of attitudes, behaviors, and customs with them, and they don't often adapt to the existing culture.

WHO WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT?
Court Gavel Clip Art - EtsyWe still need to elect a club President for the Rotary year beginning July 1, 2027, following Carrie. It is an honor of a lifetime to be President of a Rotary Club! It's not as daunting as you might think, with members always willing to lend a hand with whatever needs to be done. And its a great way to hone your own leadership skills. Talk to Carrie if you're interested in pursuing the idea! It'll be fun!
D5400 IGNITE WANTS YOU!
Rotary District 5400 is pleased to launch Ignite, its inaugural leadership program. Applications are open through November 1. This immersive eight-week experience will help participants inspire others, foster growth, and increase their impact within Rotary and beyond.

The Process:

The program is limited to 25 participants. Clubs may nominate members or encourage them to apply, and each sponsoring club must be prepared to cover the $235 program fee. The program fee covers food, materials, and training.

Clubs are encouraged to think broadly about potential participants: a past leader who would welcome a new opportunity or a member with leadership potential who may not yet see themselves as a leader. Regardless of background, participants will gain practical skills and relationships they can use within Rotary and beyond.
